The article is devoted to the key problems of financial and economic activity of enterprises of microelectronic industry in Russia. The reasons for the delay in the development of domestic microelectronics in comparison with the world level and possible directions of development of this industry are revealed. Particular attention is paid to yield management and counterparty ranking methodology. The dynamics of financial results of a large microelectronics supplier, Zelenograd plant AO “Mikron”, is presented. The main problems of receivables and payables management are identified and the ways of their solution have been proposed. The peculiarities of financial activity in the execution of the state defense order are outlined.
