Distance learning is considered as a multifactorial phenomenon for Russian businesses: online and offline. The priority of online education management platforms, the Learning Management System in the Digital Learning segment, is asserted and its importance for business is highlighted. The authors connect the COVID-19 pandemic and Lockdown period with the formation of Learning Management Systems. They have shown the dynamics of the use of Learning Management Systems add-on services in personnel training in Russian companies, noting the possibility of Russian companies’ adaptation to the difficult period of sanctions through Learning Management Systems and the development of the Digital Learning sector in Russia.
