The role of the spiritual potential of the officer staff of EMERCOM of Russia in military and professional activities is shown. The authors particularly note that the degree of perfection of the officers’ spiritual qualities, their axiological characteristic, worldview orientation and positive internal and external focus are of fundamental importance in everyday service. The authors place the emphasis on both positive and negative forms of manifestation of the officer’s personal world, which is a peculiar fusion of common cultural, professional and personal values. The authors have established a point that the effectiveness and quality of life-saving and health preservation work for the good of Russian citizens is directly determined by the level of spiritual development of officers of structural subdivisions of EMERCOM of Russia.
