The author considers the management of innovative development of a mining enterprise. The position is substantiated that the most important factor having a negative impact on the effectiveness of the management of the enterprise’s innovative activity is the lack of management tools that ensure a balance of social and economic interests of its subjects. A theoretical model based on the provisions of the theory of marginal utility and providing the definition of a dynamic balance of interests, and a complex of economic and mathematical models that provide strategic management of the balance of interests are proposed. The conclusion has been made about the applicability of the proposed methodological approaches and management tools for the management of a mining enterprise based on the balance of interests of shareholders and staff.
